Welcome to links.ceo ("we," "our," "us," or the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the links.ceo website, client applications (including our web, desktop, and progressive web applications), APIs, and URL shortening and redirection services. By creating an account, accessing, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

links.ceo provides high-performance URL shortening, real-time HTTP 302 redirection, custom domain routing, atomic click analytics, and dynamic QR code generation designed for media buyers, marketers, and digital creators. The Service includes both a web dashboard and downloadable/installable client applications built on WebAssembly (WASM) for desktop and mobile operating systems.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account and use the Service.
• Supported Registration Methods: At this time, account creation and authentication are strictly limited to valid Gmail accounts (via Google Sign-In or verified @gmail.com addresses). Registrations attempted with other email providers or temporary/disposable email services are not supported.
• Account Security: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notification: You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access, suspected compromise of your login credentials, or any other security breach involving your account.

3. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

3.1 Free Tier

We offer a free tier that allows you to create up to three (3) active shortlinks with access to core platform features. We reserve the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue the free tier at any time with or without notice.

3.2 Paid Subscriptions ("Unlimited Affiliate Pro")

• Billing Cycle: Paid subscription plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis ($9.99/month unless stated otherwise at checkout).
• Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it prior to the renewal date via your account settings.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period; you will retain pro-level access until that cycle concludes.
• Refunds: Because of the instant operational and infrastructure costs associated with provisioning serverless edge capacity, all subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Security Screening

Our platform maintains strict security standards to protect our domain reputation, edge IP infrastructure, and end-users. You agree to use the Service strictly in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4.1 Automated Threat Intelligence Screening

Every destination URL submitted to links.ceo is screened in real time against automated security and threat detection systems, including Google Cloud Web Risk API, abuse.ch URLhaus, and internal heuristic filters. We reserve the right to re-scan destination URLs periodically.

4.2 Prohibited Destination Content

You are strictly prohibited from creating shortlinks that point to, facilitate, or promote:

• Malware and Exploits: Viruses, spyware, Trojans, ransomware, keyloggers, botnet command-and-control servers, or automated exploit kits.
• Phishing and Fraud: Pages designed to impersonate banks, payment processors, social networks, or login portals to steal credentials or financial data.
• Deceptive Practices: Scareware, fake system alerts, deceptive sweepstakes, unconsented push notifications, or uncloseable browser locks.
• Unsolicited Communications (Spam): Mass unsolicited SMS, spam email campaigns, or deceptive forum/comment spam.
• Illegal and Harmful Material: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual sexual content, terrorism, violent extremism, illegal narcotics, or weapons trafficking.
• Intellectual Property Infringement: Counterfeit goods, unauthorized copyright streams, or pirated software downloads.

4.3 Technical Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass, tamper with, or evade our security screening APIs or automated filters.
• Launch Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, flood our endpoints with excessive automated script requests, or interfere with serverless routing integrity.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our desktop or WebAssembly client runtimes.

5. Custom Domains and Content Responsibility

• Domain Authority: If you connect a custom domain or subdomain to our Service, you represent and warrant that you own or have the explicit legal authorization to manage and configure DNS records for that domain.
• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all destination URLs, landing pages, affiliate offers, creative assets, and advertising copy associated with your shortlinks. links.ceo does not endorse, verify, or assume liability for third-party products, merchants, or affiliate programs linked through our Service.

6. Uptime, Performance, and Service Modifications

• Availability Target: While we engineer our serverless edge architecture for an availability target of 99.99% uptime, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
• Maintenance and Updates: We reserve the right to modify, enhance, suspend, or temporarily interrupt any feature or component of the Service for scheduled maintenance, updates, security patches, or emergency infrastructure upgrades.
• No Cache Notice: You acknowledge that our platform executes standard HTTP 302 redirects with cache-control headers designed to ensure real-time click auditing and immediate link destination updates.

7. Intellectual Property

• Our Rights: All rights, title, and interest in and to the links.ceo platform, branding, trademarks, logos, UI designs, codebases, Flutter WASM binaries, and software documentation are and will remain the exclusive property of links.ceo and its licensors.
• Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to your custom domains, brand names, and creative marketing materials. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to route, store, and process your destination links solely to provide the redirection and analytics service to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LINKS.CEO, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, ADVERTISING SPEND, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY;
• ANY AD PLATFORM ACCOUNT SUSPENSION, AD CAMPAIGN DISAPPROVAL, OR THIRD-PARTY AFFILIATE NETWORK ACTION ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE;
• ANY DOWNTIME, DELAY, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF CLICK ATTRIBUTION;
• ANY THIRD-PARTY SITES, SERVICES, OR CONTENT ACCESSED VIA REDIRECTED SHORTLINKS.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO LINKS.CEO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless links.ceo, its affiliates, contractors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to the Service;
• Your violation of any provision of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
• Any content, destination page, product, or campaign linked through your shortlinks;
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or consumer protection rights.

11. Termination and Account Suspension

• By You: You may terminate your account at any time by accessing your dashboard settings or contacting support.
• By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, remove links, or revoke domain mappings immediately, without prior notice or refund, if:
  • You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy;
  • Your links trigger threat detection flags via Google Web Risk or URLhaus;
  • We are required to do so by a court order, regulatory body, or law enforcement agency;
  • Your account experiences unusual activity that threatens platform infrastructure stability.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which the operator of links.ceo is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or within the competent courts having jurisdiction over the operator.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
